On September 15th, the 76th Battle of Britain Day, the Bow Group would like to invite you to join us at the RAF Club, Mayfair, as we celebrate and pay tribute to the heroic airmen who fought - and died - to defend the United Kingdom.
The Bow Group is delighted to announce that Mr. Daniel Kawczynski MP will now also be joining us alongside His Highness Prince Janek Zylinski and The Rt Hon. The Lord Tebbit of Chingford CH, a former RAF Flying Officer.
The Bow Group in particular wishes to honour the oft-forgotten Polish airmen who were crucial to the Battle. It is our hope that this sobering reminder of their brave legacy will resonate at a time of heightened tensions amongst the European peoples.
Beginning at 18:00pm in the President's Room, we will have the pleasure of a private screening of the Battle of Britain film. At 20:30pm, we will retire to the Victoria Bar for a drinks reception with speeches from our special guests. This will then be followed at 21:00pm by returning to the President's Room for a three-course dinner.
Soft drinks and light snack refreshments will be provided during the film.
Dinner will consist of a cream of leek & potato soup starter and a steak, kidney and mushroom pie with roast potatoes & vegetables main. The vegetarian option will offer a baked apple with goats cheese starter and aubergine pithivier main. Both choices will come with a complimentary glass of wine and cheeseboard dessert.
If you wish to attend the film screening, reception and dinner, tickets may be purchased for £65.00. If you would like to attend the film screening and reception only, tickets may be purchased for £15.00.
