The Bow Group is delighted to invite you to attend a Panel Discussion on the topic of Mental Health.
We are happy to announce that our panel will include:
The Rt Hon Nicky Morgan MP – Chair of the Treasury Select Committee
Ben Harris Quinney – Bow Group Chairman
Danny Bowman – Mental Health Spokesman for Parliament Street
Dr Martin Edobor – Former Chair of the Young Fabians and current Associate Director of the New Century Institute
Regis Giles – Director of ‘Empower Girls Now!’
As suicide is now the leading cause of death in British men under 40, and depression is rising among women, we have assembled a cross party panel of experts to bring forward solutions to the urgent problem.
An inspiration for the Bow Group’s recent work on mental health issues, (seen here https://www.www.bowgroup.org/media/bow-group-chairman-government-foolishly-carelessly-undoing-its-good-work-mental-health ) and partnership with the Parliament Street think tank, was the tragic death of fellow conservative activist Elliott Johnson. We hope that the event and our other work may contribute to raising awareness of the seriousness of mental health, and the effect that it has on all of our lives.
The panel discussion will take place in the Houses of Parliament with a dinner to follow at Bacco’s.
The meal will be a 3 course dinner with 2 complimentary glasses of wine.
Tickets are priced as follows:
