Boris Johnson’s Favourability Rating Dropped Long Before Partygate Because the People Feel He Hasn’t Delivered Conservative Policies: Harris-Quinney

Apr 23, 2022 | Broadcast Media, News | 0 comments

Boris Johnson needs to return his focus to delivering on patriotic, conservative priorities, says Bow Group chairman Ben Harris-Quinney.

Speaking to GB News, Ben Harris-Quinney said that Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s public popularity was dropping long before the controversies over him attending parties prohibited during lockdown.

“If you go back and look at Boris Johnson’s net favourability rating, it dropped by the most significant margin long before Partygate broke.

“People that voted Boris Johnson in feel that he is not delivering on those patriotic Brexit conservative priorities that they wanted. That’s what Boris Johnson needs to do,” Mr Harris-Quinney said.

“There are many problems going on at home. The cost of living crisis is exploding. Inflation is exploding. They [Conservative lawmakers] are all over the place on their energy policy,” he continued, adding that the prime minister needs to return focus to domestic issues “if he wants to reestablish that very popular role he had in the Brexit campaign in the 2019 election”.
