Bow Group Hosts Brexit Red Lines Debate in Parliament

Nov 30, 2017 | Archive, Policies

“We have heard enough from the remain camp as to what they would be willing to accept from a deal with the EU, Brexiteers in Parliament need to lay down what their absolute red lines are in any deal and fight for the Brexit the British people voted for”

Cllr Ben Harris-Quinney, Chairman, The Bow Group
  • The Bow Group was the only political group to work with both Leave.EU and Vote Leave and campaigned for Britain to leave the EU.
  • Long term eurosceptics Sir Bill Cash MP, Peter Bone MP and Phillip Davies MP will lay out their red lines for them and their colleagues for any deal Theresa May secures with Brussels.
  • The debate will take place in Parliament infront of 100 guests in Committee Room 12 at 7pm this evening, Thursday 30th November.
Quotes:

“Parliament having a final say on a Brexit deal with the EU is the result of a remain lead and funded campaign, however Parliamentary scrutiny works both ways.

We have heard enough from the remain camp as to what they would be willing to accept from a deal with the EU, with talks of vast divorce bills currently in the press, Brexiteers in Parliament need to lay down what their absolute red lines are in any deal and fight for the Brexit the British people voted for.”

Cllr Ben Harris-Quinney, Chairman, The Bow Group

“A very considerable proportion of the Conservative Party’s support is reliant on a clean Brexit. The very well funded remain campaign is clearly still running and constantly making demands and gloomy forecasts in the press. Clarity and resolve is needed from the Parliamentary Conservative Party and thats why the Bow Group has called this important discussion.”
