In a time of constrained defence budgets, the Bow Group calls a debate on the strategic utility of our presence in the Falkland Islands and what measures may be taken to reduce tensions over the region between Britain and Argentina.
The debate shall discuss the current strategic situation, the importance of Britain being able to project hard and soft power into the South Atlantic and the Antarctic region, the current break down of relations over energy reserves in the Continental Shelf, and how Britain should proceed.Guests include:
