LCF and the Bow Group host Masire Mwamba – Commonwealth Dep Sec-General

London Conservative Future and The Bow Group are delighted to be joined by Masire Mwamba, Deputy Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, on 26 March 2014 for what will be a free event!

Masire Mwamba is currently the Deputy Secretary-General for the Commonwealth Secretariat with responsibility for the Political, Legal and Constitutional Divisions. In her previous roles in Botswana, Mrs Masire-Mwamba was responsible for promoting economic development, investment and private sector engagement. 

Guests will have a rare opportunity to take part in a conversation with one of the most senior officers of the Commonwealth. Join us for what should be an engaging and fascinating discussion on a variety of key issues including:

– The role of the Commonwealth
– Facilitating stronger links with the Commonwealth
– Is there appetite from other Commonwealth nations to strengthen trade ties, and if so, how is the desire to do so being harnessed? 
– Could the Commonwealth provide an alternative trading network should Britain pull out of the EU.
